We stopped using traditional baiting needles in our fishing a while ago for several reasons. The main one being that once the worm/isome/gulp has been threaded onto the baiting needle, it is far more likely to slip down the hook or snood due to the hole created by the needle being much wider than the hook or braid.

Too much time was being spent re-adjusting the bait so we eventually found these which are a perfect fix.
