Frequently Asked Questions

At present we only deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom (including Northern Ireland, Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man)

All parcels are sent via Royal Mail using either 24 Tracked or 48 Tracked.

Both options include tracking and a photo as proof of delivery, with the only difference being 24 Tracked aims to be there sooner.

We will send the tracking number once your parcel has been dispatched.

We aim to send all orders by the next working day.

The cost of delivery is the same regardless of parcel size. This is to reduce the amount of time spent processing refunds on postage. 

The only exception to this is if you place an order for a very small item (hooks, snaps etc) and send us a note with the order or a message immediately, stating you are happy for the item to be sent as a 1st class letter (not tracked).

 

If we are then able to fit it in an envelope, we will do so and also refund the difference in cost of postage.

You agree that proof of delivery supplied by Royal Mail is sufficient evidence to prove that goods have been received.

Unfortunately not.  At present we only deliver to the United Kingdom and cannot deliver internationally. This may change in the future but for now we can only apologise to our international friends.

If you want to save on the delivery costs and collect your order in person then we will be happy to oblige.

This option is really for customers that are local to us in Charlestown, Cornwall or for anyone visiting the area. We get a lot of fellow lerfers who travel to the area so if you know you’ll be fishing here and want to place an order in advance for collection, please select the “Local Pick-up” option at checkout.

We can meet you at Charlestown Harbour in St Austell and will contact you to organise a time and date.

We pride ourselves on quality goods and exceptional service so please get hold of us if any of your items arrive damaged. We will be happy to send out a replacement as long as you contact us within 2 days of the item arriving and send back the faulty product. As soon as we receive the item we will post the replacement out to you, free of charge.

Yes, taking time off to spend with our family or to go lerfing with friends is extremely important to us. The website will display a banner showing when we are away and any orders made whilst on holiday will be dispatched on the 1st working day we are home.
